Community Prayer Walks
On the second Tuesday of every month members of our local churches gather for a community prayer event. Local churches host the event on a rotating basis. Watch for details in your Sunday bulletin. See Betsy Forrester with questions.
Meals on Wheels
February and May are Meals on Wheels month at Emmanuel. We supply desserts to the local Meals on Wheels program in the months of February and May Call the church office if you would like to contribute - phone 724-865-2840.
Cereal for the Prospect-Portersville Food Bank
Emmanuel is the “cereal church” for the Prospect-Portersville Food Bank. We collect cereal at the church for delivery to the food bank as this is a product that is always needed.
Bob's Turkeys
Each year we contribute to “BOB’S TURKEYS” A fund created and implemented by Bob Goehring. We continue the fund each year in order to provide Thanksgiving Turkey dinners to many in our community. The total cost for each dinner is $30. However, any donations is appreciated. If you would like to contribute, please see Peggy Goehring. The distribution at the foodbank will be November 23, 2024.
Christmas Gifts for Residents
We participate annually in Christmas gifts for residents at Passavant Health Center in Zelienople.
